Samantha Bird
Samantha Bird ran away with the circus nearly 20 years ago, and occasionally dabbles with coming back someday. She is so very happy to be joining creative forces with the Toy Boat horde. Her many years of training and performance include trapeze (static, swinging, & flying), corde lisse, silks, spanish web, roman rings, dance, Chinese Acrobatics, partner acrobatics, theater, clowning, mask & mime, roustabouting, sledgehammering, painting, costuming, very large truck driving...criminy, seriously?! Yes, seriously. Gosh, not to mention that B.A. in Circus Arts and Social Change. Seriously. She has also taught hundreds of amazing students, young and old, in classes, camps and schools stateside and beyond. Greatest accomplishment to date? Two dear little boys to call her own, and they don't mind one bit.
